The Story Behind the Lens
I started F64 because I believe every person deserves to see themselves the way others see them — beautiful, confident, and worth celebrating. Boudoir photography isn't just about the photos. It's about the experience of stepping into a space where you are the subject, the focus, and the art.
Based in Sacramento, I work with clients throughout Northern California and beyond, traveling to wherever the right light and the right story takes us — from the shores of Lake Tahoe to the wildflower fields of the Central Valley.
My approach is personal, intentional, and unhurried. Every session is designed around you. I guide every pose, handle the lighting, and make sure you feel comfortable from the first shutter click to the last.
Shooting on Film
While most photographers have moved entirely to digital, I still reach for film when the moment calls for something timeless. My collection includes a 1975 Nikkormat FT2 35mm SLR and a 1957 Hasselblad 500C medium format camera — two cameras that have outlasted entire eras of photographic technology.
Film captures light differently. There's a grain, a depth, and an organic quality that no digital filter can replicate. When you hold a print made from one of these negatives, you can feel it.
Boudoir on film is a slow, deliberate process — and that intentionality comes through in the final images.
